An Update on Re-Opening Southview Dental Care

We are writing to update you on the long awaited re-opening of Southview Dental Care.

For the first 3 weeks from Monday 8th June, we will be providing a limited face-to-face service for urgent care. This will be restricted to what is known as non aerosol generating procedures (non AGP), in line with the current Covid Alert Status classed as Level 4.

What this means for our patients is that we will be limited to basic urgent care that does not involve us using the dental handpiece (dental drill), such as simple extractions, repairing lost fillings and broken teeth.

We anticipate being able to provide a wider range of treatments from July.

As you can imagine, following such a long period of closure we have an extensive list of patients who have contacted us for telephone advice and assessment. Our aim is to see those patients as a priority during our first phase of return.

Thank you for your continued patience and understanding on this, we have not forgotten you, it is just that our list is rather impressive!

We will continue to offer telephone assessments for urgent cases during this period. Please do not attend the practice unless it is for your arranged appointment.

Your New Patient Journey

Your next Southview experience will be somewhat different to what you have previously experienced,

You can take a look at the details here.

We look forward to seeing you in the near future as we return to our new normal!

Meanwhile, stay safe and well
